About the Pilates classes
The Grounded Girls club is open to girls aged 11-17 and will take place on Sunday's at 11.30am at Elevate Dance Company, Fisherton Street, Salisbury, SP2 7RB.
Around 60% of girls stop exercising by the age of 14. Pilates offers a safe, supportive way for girls to develop strength, improve posture and build confidence — without pressure, competition or comparison. It can help counteract the effects of long hours spent sitting at school or on screens.
Just as importantly, Pilates creates space to slow down. With a focus on breathing and mindful movement, it can help manage stress, ease anxiety and give teenage girls tools they can carry with them far beyond the mat. And we'll soundtrack it with music they love so that it feels like a space just for them.
